It started when he was just a little boy. At 65, Bruce Jenner finally decided that he will cease to be a man and become a woman.
The first public announcement was made via an interview with Diane Sawyer. Then, just last week the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians where he is a part, featured a two-part episode entitled “About Bruce”. Both instances showed still the old Bruce in a manly physique though some changes in his facial structures were already noticeable. Apart from that, there was also a peek of his wardrobe while stepdaughter Kim Kardashian was volunteering herself as sytlist.
Now the question is when are we going to meet “her”? Vanity Fair nailed the deal. Caitlyn Jenner is on the cover of the magazine’s July issue, shot by Annie Leibovitz.
This shoot was about my life and who I am as a person. It’s not about the fanfare, it’s not about people cheering in the stadium, it’s not about going down the street and everybody giving you ‘that a boy, Bruce,’ pat on the back, O.K. This is about your life. – Caitlyn Jenner talking to Buzz Bissinger for the Vanity Fair feature
She was comfortable, confident, and has absolutely no reason not to be. It was probably the most exciting thing to see—there was real joy in her feeling comfortable and happy in her skin. It was amazing. I don’t usually get super sentimental about things, but that was probably the most emotional and open experience I have ever had on a shoot. – stylist Jessica Diehl
As a process, I think Bruce Jenner should rest in peace while Caitlyn Jenner is alive and kicking. It is totally different to see this transition from an outsiders point of view. At the end of the day, who cares? If Caitlyn is happier, a much better person and will be making $$$ via a docu-series on E!, then its none of your business.
