Last friday was not like any other day. It was the birthday of our good friend Francis and he chose to celebrate his 35th birthday (35 seemed to be the constant figure) at The Chedi Hotel in Muscat.
It was unfortunate that Rolex did not bring his camera. I hope my iphone clicks would do justice to the beauty and serenity of The Chedi Hotel, one of the best hotel in Oman.
Enjoy the photo overload!

The lobby was built with the feel of true Arabic architecture…from the tent like ceiling to the hanging Arabic lamps.

Francis taught me & Rolex alot of things…among them is Cognac+Coffee. So every meal with him would not be complete without some wine. So before we sat down to start the food fest, we checkout the cellar first. Their most expensive bottle costs almost OMR 3000 or $7,300…ohmygosh!

I tried to photograph my platterssss and again I failed. This is just what I was able to capture. The rest was digested already, haha! I can say that the buffet at The Chedi was one of the best I had.

I love the idea that the guestrooms have several huge mirrors.

There is water everywhere…from the 2 long-stretch infinity pools to fountains and these small patches of water around the property.

Just white and simple…and beautiful!
Great thanks to Francis for celebrating your birthday with me, Rolex, Asanka & Anthony.
