Palawan, here I come! It’s a planned trip that is on hold until typhoon Gener says goodbye. I kept on checking the weather forecast online. I am not really scared of turbulence while up on the air but someone is (winks). Seriously, its better to be safe than sorry. It’s going to be my 2nd time in Puerto Princesa. Though I would love to see the side of Coron, someone is just scared of the small planes propeller (winks again).
I do not know how to swim and as always I rely my life with the life vest while on waters, particularly waters way above my 5’4” frame. I can say that the snorkeling experience in Palawan was the best. My bikini lines stayed on me for a year, imagine? I’ve never felt so nog2x (over-tanned) but I enjoyed it very much. I was with the Tres Marias. It was 2007.
We also visited the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Centre, Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm, Bakers Hill (where you get the pasalubongs) and had dinner at Kalui Restaurant where you have to leave your footwear outside and enjoy a sumptuous meal barefoot.
For our trip tomorrow, I’m just praying for a sound weather and looking forward to a happy time with family.
