I think I am going back to my first passion as a child and that is interior design and architecture. In simple terms, as a kid I would simply spend my day drawing houses and flipping the same pages in the encyclopedia which shows pictures of beautiful homes (we don’t have computers and internet then, what more Google?). Combine that with my love for travel, I think I might just turn into a working tourist one day, work in a new place and explore its travel destination at the same time.
Aberdeen, Hong Kong
Today’s feature is this crisp and clean apartment in a high-rise residential building in Aberdeen, Hong Kong. Don’t you know that Hong Kong is the very first country I’ve been to? That was in 2004. Aberdeen is a town in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It was known in the 60’s as the place where Hong Kong’s boat people dwell but in recent times, it has become a tourist destination and should not be missed when you visit Hong Kong.
The Boat House
This dynamic home office for a French couple with 3 cats was built in the year 2013 by the firm Bean Buro Architects. It is specifically located in Aberdeen Larvotto, a posh estate in the area consisting of 9 towers divided into 3 groups of structures.
