It’s been a while since I’ve updated this blog and I know it’s awful. What is awesome however is the reason behind it. I am currently snapping photos of such amazing places here in the United Kingdom for my 40-day holiday. I have been to most of it in 2008 and 2011, but what makes extra special now is because my mama is with me & Rolex in this trip to see my sister and her kids.
We’ve been touring non-stop since we landed. Today is a rest day actually and so I find time to blog.
We made most of our layover in Heathrow by making a quick tour to see the Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.
Day 1 was spent with a grand day tour to the beautiful Lake District where we went boating and strolled around to our heart’s desire.
At day 2, we also made sure to go around Newcastle town center before hitting on another destination in the Northern part of the UK. I made a little bit of shopping and to my surprise, my niece AJ paid for the jeans I liked at Topshop! My heart melts. She also bought a bag for my mama (her grandma) at Debenhams.
Then we travelled by train to the Scottish capital, the City of Edinburgh on day 3. It was a miraculous day. Who would have thought that Scotland has Mr. Sunshine all day long with zero chances of rain!
Day 4, my sister drove us to see the scenic Alnwick Castle and Garden were two of the Harry Potter movies were filmed.
Here are a few of my Iphone photos 🙂
