Get the Look: Kate Beckinsale in Jimmy Choo

It might not be the first time that you see her in something neon but what do you think of Kate Beckinsale in Jimmy Choo shoes as she attended the Star Trek into the Darkness premier?

Jimmy Choo Myth Suede & Leather Sandals

Perhaps you don’t feel the vibes of the sandals, you can still opt to see the future ahead in these pair of pumps still from Jimmy Choo.

Jimmy Choo Agnes Ombre Leather Pumps

When I think of Star Trek, I think of the straight line eyebrows and when I think of something futuristic, I think of glazing glass and silver. I didn’t realize that the future can actually be neon.

Happy Mothers Day

This is the day when I wish I am a mother so I can demand for a gift :)

Happy Mother’s Day to all hard-working, selfless and by far the only creature I know who can love unconditionally. Cheers to all your sacrifices. An insanely wonderful daughter like me is so easy to raise :) I may not be a mom yet but I know how much my mom loves me that’s why I am lucky.

So if you haven’t wrapped something for mommy, it’s not yet too late to apologize for misbehaving, haha!

MET BALL

I have not really seen what everybody’s wearing at the recent Met Ball or Met Gala but just a quick note on what came to my mind first when I saw Linda Evangelista and Katy Perry…

…they both look like some of the statues inside the church.

and as my brother-in-law would say on Kim Kardashian…

“Kim Kardashian is wearing our old sofa’s upholstery. I am truly honored.”

PS. Kim has to thank Kanye West (her baby’s Daddy), she is finally invited to the Met Ball.

Outfit Inspiration: How to Wear Red Pants

how to wear red pants

How to wear red pants without looking like Michael Jackson?

One time, my good friend Mrs. Anderson sent me a photo of herself via viber with a question: Is it ok or do I look like Michael Jackson? We love the King of Pop but there are some outfits that is best worn on stage than in everyday life.

Here are a few ideas on how to get away with red pants without really looking like you are one of the “Thrillers” (you know what I mean).

1) Red pants + black blazer + white shirt + black shoes

Just like how Jessica Alba would do it – this is the exact example I showed my friend when she asked me. Initially she wore a black inner shirt which is quite close to being MJ. I think the white shirt evens out the monotony.

This black blazer from BB Dakota is undoubtedly just perfect plus its on sale ($98 $78.40) so take that chance now from the Shopbop sale. You can actually switch to black pumps instead of the booties if you want.

2) Red pants + denim top + leopard print accessories

See how Khloe Kardashian used this combo, though I find that the leopard printed belt and shoes put together can be a little OTT (over the top). She should have opted for one either the shoes alone and left the belt at home.

3) Oh well, this is one of the chicest way to wear red pants photographed by Scott Schuman.

I realized that red pants looks pretty if its ankle-length paired with sexy strappy sandals in black- either you opt for simple white shirt or denim top, covered with blazer or coat. Peep at these gorgeous pair of black sandals from Alexander Wang called Antonia. Its a more pricier though compared to this equally beautiful but simple pair courtesy of Elizabeth and James. However, if you’re tight with the budget, there’s no excuse not to look perfect with this total knock-off from Asos.

I would like to wear something like this one summer day:
